Thanksgiving

Like father like son!
Kinley and Camryn...Camryn is not so sure!

Thanksgiving was busy this year! Thursday we spent with Jeremy's mother watching the Cowboy game and eating Thanksgiving dinner. Then Friday night we left for Waco to see more family. Saturday we enjoyed Thanksgiving lunch with my Dad's side of the family. We had a great time eating, playing games, and watching the kids play. Then it was off to my mom's side of the family in Groesbeck where we ate Thanksgiving dinner and visited. A good time was had by all but Jeremy and I needed a vacation after the vacation!!

I am blessed and thankful...

My rock and biggest supporter
My handsome, silly, football loving son
My precious and beautiful daughter
I am so blessed in life with a wonderful husband and two precious children. It is hard to believe when you are younger that growing older will become even better every year! I am truly thankful for God and His wonderful blessings he has bestowed upon me and my family! Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family. I also want to recognize those that fight everyday for our freedom and sacrifice their holidays with family to serve our country.

Photo Class

The color lighted fountain
My birthday gift from my mother and mother-in-law was money to take a photography class. I have had the best time taking the class. This week we went on a field trip to downtown Dallas. Michael taught us about movement and how to make movement in the pictures. The train is actually going very slow as it is just leaving the station. We also practiced making more artistic photos using the movement and shutter speeds.

Love the feet!

Camryn is growing so fast that I have not been keeping up well with pictures of her on the blog. She is almost five months old and the time is slipping by faster than I like. She is onto her second baby food this week...applesauce. Camryn is chewing everything and breaking out from the excessive drool so it appears that we maybe getting close to the dreaded teething. She has found her feet and they are the most important thing in her life right now! She pulls them immediately to her mouth or face when she is on the ground or in her chair. She wants to pull up straight when sitting in her reclining feeding chair. Camryn is not one to sit still and is quick to turn over when she is on the floor. It is so funny the difference in the two kids because Connor did not care much about turning over or trying to sit up. He was satisfied with just laying on the ground and observing everything. I can feel it...she is going to give us a run for our money!!

Halloween!

Mom and Camryn
Having fun with Uncle Bobby

Brotherly love!

Camryn's First Day of Cereal!

"What is this paste stuff you call cereal?"
Camryn started cereal after her 4 month appointment. The first time she was not impressed with cereal but is getting better about eating the cereal. Her child care provider says she is eating well for her so that is good. She just is not that interested in eating cereal with Mommy! Yesterday we started her on squash so we will see how that goes!

First Baylor Game!

"Sic 'em Bears!"
Jeremy, Connor, and I traveled to Waco for Connor's first Baylor Football Game! Dad joined us for the big game. It was the 100th Anniversary Homecoming game. As you can see Connor had a great time!

"What are you looking at?"
Abby fixing her tea
Connor making his own music
"I am soooo excited about my presents!"
Happy Birthday to you Princess!
This past weekend we spent in Waco. The kids and I drove down Friday night to Shelley and Jeff's house for Kinley's birthday dinner with family. The family joined to eat pizza and cookie cake. The kids had a great time playing together. Dylan was nice to play catch with Connor while Emily and Kinley opened the presents and tried on the dress-up shoes. Saturday was Kinley's birthday party at Mayborn Museum at Baylor Campus. The museum has a children's section that is two floors of fun! The kids played and ate cupcakes. A good time was had by all. It was hard to believe Miss Kinley is two already! We loved helping her celebrate her birthday! Happy Birthday Kinley and we love you!

State Fair Weekend

Last weekend Aunt Kim and Cousin Brent came down to go with Connor to the fair along with Mommy, Daddy, and Mimi (Jeremy's mother). Connor had a GREAT time! He rode the rides and played the games. And of course ate the corny dogs and french fries!! The best part of the day was the Sunny Day Farm for kids. Connor got to don an apron and work the farm. The kids were given a basket and feed for the animals (they were fake animals). Connor traveled to each barn where he milked the cow to get a carton of milk, fed the hens to get an egg, fed the sheep to get wool, picked a peach from the tree, planted seeds in a garden to get a vegetable, and then took his produce to the market. Once the kids sold their products they received money where they received a treat from the store! Connor had such a great time being a farmer for a day! A great time was had by all.
We were all tired by the end of the day!
Selling his produce Driving his produce to the market
Watering his seeds
Milking the cow
Feeding the hens to collect his egg
Picking the peaches
A man had a booth were he was carving giant pumpkins...the designs were amazing!
Brent and Connor on the whale ride...Connor loved this ride!
Not too thrilled with the carousel now but loved it once it started.

Another favorite ride was the swings!
